Hello,
I am a graduate Computing Security student at Rochester Institute of
Technology doing research on load balancers. I am currently documenting
items including the security of load balancers, detection of load
balancers, and the affects load balancing might have on a penetration
tester. The final goal of the project will be to create a lab/testing
environment as well as lecture materials to help students understand the
value of load balancing. I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can aid
my research with potential resources or knowledge that might be helpful.
I would also like to inquire about academic programs you might offer, and
to request a temporary license for HAProxy Enterprise Edition, if
available. he goal will be to research possible differences or advantages
between commercial and free or open source load balancers. As a grad
student, becoming more familiar with your product and building labs around
it will help me and will expose undergraduate students to the concepts as
well.
Thank you for your time.
